What is the Digitourism Program?

Digitourism is a funding program of the Canton of Valais in cooperation with economic development agencies (Department of Economic, Energy and Spatial Development, DWTI).
The aim is to support tourism companies from Valais in planning and implementing specific digital projects.

The focus is on real impact — and not on quick effects.
Projects that make a sustainable contribution to digital transformation in tourism are funded.

Who is the program for?

Service providers and players in tourism in the canton of Valais: for example:

  • Hotels and hotel groups
  • catering establishments
  • Experience provider
  • Ski schools and mountain railways
  • Players and service providers in tourism destinations
  • Landlords, real estate and vacation rental providers

What is being funded?

  • Digital solutions to optimize the guest experience
  • Improved online bookability or CRM integration
  • Automated communication or guest services
  • Interactive experiences that can be extended digitally
  • Processes that promote sustainability, efficiency and quality

Framework conditions:

  • Funding amount up to 2,000 CHF per project (as of April 2025), maximum 75% of the project scope
  • Support in design, selection of partners, implementation
  • Access to a network of experts — including Yoline
